On July 15th, the subject of "AZ91DXR Die-casting Rare Earth Magnesium Alloy Research" by Chen Guang, a postdoctoral fellow of Zhejiang Huashuo Technology Co., Ltd., passed the certification of the expert group and successfully exited the station.
The subject has done a lot of research on the improvement of corrosion resistance of AZ91DXR die-casting rare earth magnesium alloy and the preparation and characterization of surface functional structure layer. Die-casting magnesium alloys with different mass fractions of Nd/Sm rare earths have been designed and prepared. Through composition optimization and microstructure analysis , Forming rare earth intermetallic compounds distributed in the alloy in a dispersed and fine form, making the magnesium alloy an ideal microstructure in die casting.
This project has rich innovation results. During the period, it was selected for the second-class funding of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and 1 special funding for Zhejiang Postdoctoral Research Projects. It won 2 invention patents, published 3 SCI papers, and won the 2020 Zhejiang Science and Technology Award. Third prize.
Driven by Chen Guang's several years of subject research, in recent years, Zhejiang Huashuo Technology Co., Ltd. has continuously improved its product development and process innovation. Kuang Xinwen, director of the company’s first business department, introduced that in 2020, the company’s lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloy auto parts will have new breakthroughs in the U.S. and European markets, with new sales exceeding 100 million yuan and new profit contributions exceeding 20 million yuan.
